General Meeting 1pm La Jolla, at the home of Augusto Angelucci. Augusto was our host in July 2008, and you can see pictures of his 13,000 gallon pond from then. Norm Meck will speak on Water Quality, pH & Nitrates.

JFG Filter Maintenence 8 AM. Want to get your feet real squishy and be covered with pond gunk? Then come help us clean out the bio-filter and other overdue maintenance on the Japanese Friendship Garden's filter. This is a good time to see an efficient, hand-made filter system close up. Please come on Saturday, September 25th at 8:00am to the back gate of the Garden where someone will let you in. We usually get done by 11:00am or noon. Come casual and bring a towel. *All Steering Committee meetings are at 7pm, at the Sizzler at 3755 Murphy Canyon Rd (unless otherwise noted). All club members are welcome. While the meetings officially start at 7pm, most arrive about 6:30 for informal, semi-social, discussion.
