Started in April 2006, Hole dug August/September 2006 (25 cu. yds. removed). Pond filled October 2006. 7400 Gallons. Two 55-gallon settlement chambers (pond re-do 2009); each dedicated to a 4" bottom drain. The pre-filtration feeds into a Sequence external 5800 pump to Five up-flow 55-gallon barrel filters filled with poly-strapping. Eleven out-flow spots in water wall. The skimmer circuit (pond re-do 2009), with external Evolution ES8500 pump, feeds a Emperor Aquatics 80 watt UV unit and a four-tray shower unit. This pond is home to 25 koi ranging in size from 9" to 32".

Also there is an auxiliary 500-gallon poly-tank with filtration and shower, for the future ones, on site. This holds up to 20 little koi.
