Wow!! We had a great response from our members to help out for our annual maintenance on the Japanese Friendship Garden's filter system and UV lights. We had 15 members participate so we were done in 2 hours. Once the UV lights are turned back on we usually have leaks but this time, no leaks. And we must have really done a good job squishing out all the gunk from the open cell foam panels because the pond didn't get cloudy. Thanks to Matt Rhoades and his son Cole, Bob Welsh, Paul Atkiss, Shirley Elswick, Jack Chapman, Norm and Suzanne Meck, Sam and Terri Seat, Steve Buckles, Tom Dowdy-Winslett and Buddy Dowdy-Winslett, Nurullah Ansari and Linda Pluth. Everyone got a chance to see Norm Meck's filter system in operation which is now 11 years old and still doing a great job and the new collection of 19 koi. We look forward to seeing everyone next year to do side 2 of the filter!!Hover your cursor over a face in the lower right picture to see a name.
